Reuse the Old, Make it New Again – Vinyl Bags

This time of year we all focus on resolutions and changes, and if you’re like me one resolution is always to get more organized! Every year at holiday clean up I’ve gotten better at storing my favorite items in new ways, to protect them for future years but also to make them easier to find next year. Reusing the vinyl packaging that comes with my cosmetics and home textiles purchases takes care of two resolutions at once – better organization and eco-conscious decisions.

One of my favorite reuses this year of my vinyl zipper sheet bag was for my partial rolls and pieces of wrapping paper – by rolling or folding them into the clear vinyl zipper bag, I can readily see what’s available for holidays, birthdays, and special occasions, keep it protected from tearing and crinkling and most importantly it won’t go to waste. I’ve been reusing my vinyl zipper bags for years for ornaments, decorations, tree skirts, kids school crafts…and every year I find more new uses.
